Caramelised onions

Ingredients

  • Onions
  • Sugar
  • Butter or coconut oil
  • Balsamic vinegar

Method

  1. Slice the onions
  2. Heat a pan with butter or coconut oil
  3. Fry the onions till slightly caramelized
  4. Add a few spoons of sugar, let it melt.
  5. Add a bit of balsamic vinegar.
  6. Continue cooking for a few minutes until the liquid reduce till a slight sticky consistency.
